The PA24-28-1DP and PA24-28-1DP-PP adapters allow you to convert 24-pin DIP devices to a 28-pin PLCC footprint, with a precise wiring configuration that skips pins 5, 8, 11, and 19. These skips are common in certain microcontrollers or legacy logic devices that do not use all PLCC positions.

This adapter is available in two socket options:

  • ZIF Socket (PA24-28-1DP): Ideal for prototyping or lab environments where devices are inserted and removed frequently.

  • LIF Socket (PA24-28-1DP-PP): Better suited for production use, field installations, or long-term applications.

Both versions share identical mechanical and electrical layouts, with the ZIF socket installed into the same LIF base to simplify inventory and compatibility.
