Product Description:

The PA24-28-7DP and PA24-28-7DP-PP are part of our DIP to PLCC Emulator Adapter product line. These adapters convert 24-pin DIP devices to a 28-pin PLCC footprint, with a unique wiring configuration that:

  • Skips pins 1, 11, 15, and 19

  • Internally shorts pins 28 to 1 and 14 to 15

This configuration supports specialized devices that require selective grounding, mirrored signals, or fixed voltage references between specific pins.

Choose the socket that fits your workflow:

  • ZIF Socket (PA24-28-7DP):
    Ideal for development, debugging, and applications with frequent IC swaps.

  • LIF Socket (PA24-28-7DP-PP):
    A production-friendly option for long-term or cost-sensitive deployments.

Both versions maintain the same footprint and signal mapping. Each includes 0.018” round DIP pins for reliable through-hole mounting and electrical performance.
